Camera Shot Fundamentals
About
This course project was developed for my ITLS-6205 Instructional Technologies class during the summer of 2020. The primary focus of the project is to educate learners on the most popular camera shots used in modern cinema. The course was designed and developed using instructional design techniques in Articulate Rise 360.

What I Did
For this project, I independently planned, designed, and developed a Rise 360 course. I used Bloom's Taxonomy to structure the course, emphasizing a bottom-up learning approach. The course aimed to bridge the gap between cinematography and psychology by educating students on various types of shots and their effects on the human subconscious. As this was a class project, it was never implemented, and no results were submitted for evaluation.

What I Learned
This was my first experience using Rise 360 for e-learning, and I found it intuitive, allowing me to start creating content quickly. I mastered the intricacies of the software and learned how to design effective courses that align with students' pedagogical needs and goals. A key insight I gained during the process was that the sequence of content can significantly impact student learning, either enhancing or hindering it. Reflecting on the project, I wish I had been more selective in using question types, ensuring they fit better within their specific contexts.
